General Information of Corbett National Park:
The park is placed between 29°25' to 29°39'N latitude and 78°44' to 79°07'E longitude. The altitude of the region ranges between 365 m and 1, 0480 m. The present covered area of the Corbett Tiger Reserve is 1,301.58 square kms including 520 square kms of dense core area and 797.72 square kms of buffer part. The core area forms the National Park while the buffer contains reserve forests (496.54 square kms).
