Jim Corbett National park is considered as India’s oldest national park and first tiger reserve. It was founded in 1936, named Hailey National Park. In 1955 it was rechristened as Ramganga National Park. Finally in the honour of the grate hunter and naturalist, late Jim Corbett it changed to Jim Corbett National Park.
Jim Corbett National Park is the best place for the wildlife adventure lovers. All tourism zones inside the park are defined by Corbett Tiger Reserve for tourists to enjoy its extreme wildlife, flora and fauna and breathtaking landscapes.

The present covered area of the Corbett Tiger Reserve is 1,301.58 square kms including 520 square kms of dense core area and 797.72 square kms of buffer part. The core area forms the National Park while the buffer contains reserve forests (496.54 square kms). Main Tourism Zones of Corbett National Park:For better tourism management the National Park it has divided into five main zones. Every zone has its separate entry gate. Tourist’s and enjoy wildlife safari inside the park through jeep and elephant. For accommodation in forest lodge are available inside the park in various locations.
